Badass mods. Some are kinda childish and stupid... I dont think using the whammy in GH increases your score either, its just for extracting star power from sustained notes...

That was a nice post.
Like the way you wrote.
Online games have been expanding like wildfire lately.
Plethoras of gaming website coming up lately are a testimony to this.

However as a core gamer, I found many of them missing the depth.

Of the many WATGame was the one that caught my attention. Clearly written by a passionate gamer, the articles had that distinctive feel to them.

I would like to know of any more that you would like to suggest on such topics.

Just one little nitpick, the wii controlling the house is actually not a mod. It's just a webpage on a home server that controls the house automation system.
The wii is simply accessing the webpage. Any web enabled device can actually do the exact same thing. Therefore not a mod since the wii is left untouched

There are some really sweet things here. Nice Post! That Ben Heck guy is awesome. I'm surprised some of the giants in the video game industry haven't hired some of these people. I guess that's what makes these mods so awesome, is that they're one of a kind. Once again nice post it was an interesting read.

great mods, I am highly impressed. I actually think my favs are the open sided LED wii, and the jumbo ds.


to Le sure: the point of all these isnt whether its "cool" in the traditional sense. These guys are being creative. Innovating on things they love and expressing thier passion through homage and origional work. What is childish is your dismissive and shallow post.

I don't like the idea of gutting a Super Mario Bros. NES cart of destroying a SNES controller for stupid mods. Only do mods that you can put back to it's original state later.

Kool collection- I've also seen PC's in an NES shell and the like. The PS3 laptop could actually be quite useful, loaded with Linus.
